This is a site set up to assist users with setting up Audio, Video & Lighting protocols on Unifi Networks and Hardware.
Unifi is known for having some quirks that that don’t always play nicely with the needs of AVL systems and this site is a breakdown of lots of testing and trial & error to get things to working together.
While there are quite a few user forums and groups specific to Unifi, finding assistance with the specific AVL needs is difficult and a central repository of tips is non-existent. This site has been created to fill that void.
The production network used for testing and implementation is from a broadcast television facility consisting of about 25 Unifi network switches, spread out over 4 different facilities. Currently it is built with 10Gb backbones and and a mix of the Pro and Standard network switch lines.
